Heavy Today, Brighter Tomorrow.

There are days when you wake up and something deep inside you feels… off. Your spirit doesn’t rise with the sun. It stays curled under the sheets, heavy with a tiredness you can’t quite name.

Maybe it’s grief which is knocking quietly, reminding you of things you thought you had tucked away. Maybe it’s money worries that is standing at the foot of your bed, daring you to get up and face them. Or maybe it’s just one of those days when your soul says, “Not today.”
And so, you roll over. You let the world go on without you for a moment. You pull the covers tighter around your shoulders hoping that warmth might chase away whatever chill has settled in your chest.

Sometimes your people reach out. They call, text, tease you with gentle words. Their voices sound like tiny lanterns glowing through the fog that try to pull you up and out. And for a second, you almost get out of bed. Almost. But the weight is still there. It’s not always sadness. It’s not exactly stress.
It’s something in-between which is a quiet ache, a longing and a silent fatigue. So you give yourself permission to stay. You let the rain of sorrow (and maybe a touch of self pity) fall softly around you. You sleep some more. You dream. You hide.

And you know what? That’s okay. Because even as today ends with you still under the covers, there is a promise stitched into the edge of tomorrow. The day ends, as all days do. Night comes. A new day waits.
Tomorrow, you will rise. Tomorrow, you will stand up stronger. You will step into the world with lighter feet, brighter eyes, a spirit that is done hiding. Tomorrow, you will chase the things you put on pause today. You will laugh, hustle and love again.

So if today found you under the covers, unsure, weary or simply unwilling to face the world let that be. Rest is not failure. Stillness is not defeat.
May grace meet you in your sleep tonight. May favor find you in unexpected ways.
And when tomorrow comes, may you wake up ready to crush it, just like you always do.
See you on the brighter side.

TUHAME ❤️
