Business Beyond Bonds

In the entrepreneurial world, it’s common to hope for unwavering support from friends when starting a business. However, the reality is that not everyone in your circle may rally behind your venture. Instead of feeling disheartened, consider the possibility that they might have their reasons, possibly stumbling upon a better deal or having different priorities.

While it’s natural to crave validation from those close to you, it’s crucial to shift your focus from the few to the many. In a country with a population of over 45 million, your friends represent just a tiny fraction. Understanding this can help you navigate the entrepreneurial journey with resilience. I learnt this from my brother, I used to get hurt how someone didn’t support my business until he told me that my friends aren’t even 1 million from the entire population.

However, it’s worth noting that genuine support from family and friends can be invaluable. Sometimes, they choose to support your business despite knowing there are better deals out there. This support extends beyond mere transactions! It reflects a commitment to your journey and a belief in your capabilities. It really humbles me.

Rather than dwelling on perceived lack of support from those you share a bond with, channel your energy towards your business goals. Embrace the idea that success doesn’t come from the approval of your immediate circle. By maintaining a positive mindset and staying dedicated to your vision, you pave the way for your business to thrive independently of individual endorsements.

Finally, your venture’s success isn’t measured by the support of a handful of friends. Keep your eyes on the bigger picture, stay focused on your goals, and let your business speak for itself. And remember, while it’s okay if not everyone in your circle supports your venture, the ones who do can be invaluable allies on your entrepreneurial journey, appreciate them.

Best of luck in your ventures. Let’s FOCUS.
