Cold & Chilled Tales

The air so cold,
Stories unfold, secrets to be told.
Pampers cost more than a steaming tea,
In this chilly weather, what a strange decree.

Bundle up tight, face the freezing air,
But warmth inside is beyond compare.
Tea warms the hands, the heart’s delight,
Yet pricey pampers add to the cold night.

Sitting by the fire, its crackle so sweet,
Tea in hand, a comforting feat.
But costs rise high and solutions seem strange,
In such coldness, things don’t need to rearrange.

Legs open wide, a curious choice,
Even after, cold retains its voice.
A paradox in such frosty air,
Coldness tales, a peculiar affair.

Yet, in the quiet of the night so deep,
A simple solution, the world in sleep.
To bed we go, under covers so neat,
Where warmth is found, and cold’s defeat.
