I know it has been a while…. Greetings to you all. Am back to writing, I promise to keep writing. So as you all know from my previous blogs, I like to try out things mostly alone. Hehehe… Yeah, so I used to cook and bake with Mum but this time I said why can’t I do Mandazi on my own! Trust me. It was an amazing journey! These are locally called Daddies… I wonder why they aren’t Mummies.😄 Let’s call them small Mandazi.Mandazi recipe.
Ingredients.
✅A half a cup of Milk/water
✅3 Eggs
✅A tea spoon of Salt
✅Half a cup of Sugar
✅1 teaspoon Baking powder,
✅Lemon covers (you can use 1)
✅1 cup Baking flour
✅Magarlin/ blueband (this depends if you are a person of BB.) I use a quarter of a cup.
Directions.
You mix Flour with sugar, a pinch of salt, blueband(optional) mix these together before you add in water or milk. After they are well mixed, get your eggs mix in warm milk and mix them so well, get the mixture and add it in the other mixture of flour, mix well until the dough is good enough not to stick on your Palm.Let your dough sit for 1 to 2 hours and start to roll it as you make your favourable shapes of mandazi
Heat up your oil and start to fry your mandazi.Boom… There you are…Here are some of the pictures I took for my last Mandazi. Step by step on how I made small lines and squares to make Mummies.🤣
Step 1. After you make a ball roll it to make like a chapatiStep 2. Cutting in lines makes them look neat and sexy 😉Step 3: After boiling your oil, put one by one into the pan for cooking. Cook till golden brown. Here we are! Ready to eat 💕
Once you cook, you need to eat🤣Ready to catch a movie? Or write that proposal you have been wanting to do! With some Daddies(Mummies) you sure can. Remember to drink something with them. I prefer water with some lemon or cucumber.Try making this snack at home. It’s an easy recipe and great snack for your breakfast, evening or even a movie/series partner.
