Monday Morning for Unemployed

You’re not employed and looking for things to do on a Monday morning, there are several activities you can consider and here I have tried to put up a list, so look for what can work for you.

Volunteer: Consider volunteering at a local charity, community center, church (if you are a church person), and then the baby’s home (you can help in taking care of babies, washing clothes, and playing with them.) Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community, gain new skills, and meet new people, you never know, you might be employed as well.

Learn a new skill: Use the time to learn a new skill, such as a foreign language, sewing, coding, cooking, or photography. There are many online courses and resources available for free or at a low-cost Youtube is an excellent tool to use to learn all these skills.

Exercise: Start your day with exercise, whether it’s a morning jog, run, yoga class, or a bike ride. Exercise can help boost your energy levels and improve your mood from all the unemployment stress and thoughts.

Read: Take some time to read a book, whether it’s a novel we now thank heaven for Ebooks, a self-help book, or a memoir. Reading is a great way to relax, learn new things, and expand your knowledge as you wait for that job or capital to start your business.

Network: Attend networking events or reach out to people in your field of interest. Networking can help you build connections and learn about potential job opportunities. These can be church gatherings, seminars, workshops, youth meetings

Learn to cook: Use the morning to experiment with new recipes for breakfast or at least learn to cook a new dish. Cooking can be a fun and rewarding activity that allows you to be creative and improve your culinary skills. The best part is you cook and enjoy your dish in peace on a Monday morning.

In summary, there are many activities you can do on a Monday morning if you’re unemployed or on leave from work. The goal here is to stay active, engaged, and open to new opportunities. You know an idle mind is the devil’s workshop, that’s why you need to keep involved not just on a Monday morning but all throughout the week. I wish you all the best as you wait for your next phase of life.
