My Stacon Family of Friends

What is life without friends! What are we without connecting and networking? I would say nothing… And I know I play to much when taking pictures. 😄

Met some of these awesome people in 2010 and others in 2011! They became family. They are people that you meet and talk the whole day about memories of highschool and campus! Call it taking you back in time. They make you realize how you were in love… How you hated! How you read and of course how you used to be like back in the days. They will tell you how you are now transformed! They will tell when you are surely in love! Because they saw the young you. They are always active and noisy and they are always silly. Always making jokes. They are always happy! They know the young boys and girls they studied with. It’s amazing!

So we started having such moments when one of own left to meet the Lord. Gerald, May your soul rest in peace🙏. So the turn up was huge! Very many people wanted to go and send him off but because of work and other engagements they didn’t make it. But few of us did. I remember our dear chairman said, “Hona mazima we have come all the way from Kampala to Ntungamo for a burial of Gerald but we can’t meet ourselves when we are alive!!! We need to start meeting often.” It didn’t just drill in. It stayed in our hearts till now. How can we just turn up for a burial but fail to meet when we can breathe, eat and drink together. Trust me… If you know me… I always tell you that we need to catch up… Life isn’t forever. There is a place that God has prepared for us. And we all have to go there. So let’s keep friendship. Let’s keep meeting.

There are people who you will never see in pictures… But they are always there by faith. They are proud to be with us. As they say… They are silent cheerleaders. 😂 Okay maybe location and engagements are the reasons… But they are equally amazing!

They will carry you! They might actually make your Bae jealous but they wish you well. They are so jolly that they can’t hide it! They tell you how charming you are! How handsome you are! Because you are. They are not Abashweki😉. They tell you what you might like to hear or what you will hate to hear. But they always say something!

They are simply amazing! We normally do matches where the boys play football and the girls cheer on as they catch up with other girls; the gospel of gospel and marriage. 😉 There is always something to talk about. And inspirations from the business ladies as well as the career oriented. Even the people you last saw in 2010! They will hug you, greet you and ask about your life in every way possible. They are that concerned! They will tell you how they will support your business when they get money or when they are getting married (there’s a person who takes selfies with anyone who is about to marry)! They will connect you to a job if need be. And of course if you say you have no money… The Don will sort you out. But lunch! The Chairman will sort you in that. But for rent… You will have to work and hustle for that. 😂

After the match is done… They will allow the girls to sweat and run around the Pitch! I have never sweated like this day! But it was just 5 minutes! Yeah! I wonder how Messi does it… But anyway; things of the generals!

And lastly to memories! Pictures speak volumes. And everyone who knows me… There will always be a photo session.

To my Stacon Family of Friends stay blessed always and keep the candle burning.

TUHAME ❤️
