Oh ya!!! Whatever that means! Let me try to see how best I can put them! In this I will simply talk about decisions…So some decisions are way beyond our personal control. However some we see them coming but we hope for the best.

                            The Good

Ya!!! The day I decided to always look up to God, was the best decision I have ever made! Like ever? Am not so much into church and showing that I do trust in God, but I do. Call me a low key believer. (What does that even mean?🙄)

I started this journey way before I can remember. I always knew he is the saviour, he is the Redeemer, and he is the Lord. But I never thought about believing in him fully! And when I did! Oh my! Everything started to go in place. My health normalised! My love life perfect! Oh yeah! Family and friends great. I started learning how to pray. I now can say he the Lord is my Rock.  I actually made it a point to start giving. I felt the chains breaking!!! I still do. It’s great. And I know he will still be manifesting in my life. I put this as my good decision. But it’s my best.

And with God, you always have the best case scenario you can hope for. Every decision you make is the right one with God. And he already knows your end result. As you visualize the reality of my success as I desire I tell God to do it with me.  This verse says it all.

I know, Lord, that our lives are not our own. We are not able to plan our own course. So correct me, Lord, but please be gentle. Do not correct me in anger, for I would die. (Jeremiah 10:23)

                              The Bad

We human beings are not immune to bad decisions! Even those we can change, we have to admit that we made bad decisions and learn from them. I actually learn from all the bad decisions that I make. From my ways of not attending Economics class! After failing it I knew it was a bad decision to read History in the morning prep when we had an Economics paper that morning. Okay I actually knew the papers I wanted to pass and it was not among them… lol. Yeah, it’s that insane!!! I knew I had to pass History, Art and Divinity! That’s it. I knew I was poor at Economics and I didn’t want to change it. Maybe if I had put in efforts I would have passed it too. But am generally good with money! It’s shocking how I failed Economics terribly! Okay, I know why, I didn’t read.  Please always make sure the impact of your bad decisions doesn’t follow you, lessen up!
I needed to decide right there that I had made a mistake and that I will learn from it.  I always use this as a momentum builder to always move forward. Because this was hardest spot! UNEB was done and done. I wanted to do better at University that I read every paper as my favourite! I had to make a decision in a second. So every time am faced with a challenge to make a decision, I relate to this day. The day I received an SMS and found that I failed Economics! I knew the reason why. From that day I changed my attitude and mindset about subjects and school. Let’s learn from our bad decisions.

                               The Ugly!

I have done ugly things  that I wish I did differently or didn’t say. But those regrets don’t have to control me. I have come to learn how to control my thoughts to see the positives instead of the negatives. This has worked for me.
For my experience here… I have typed like 3 different stories and I saw they ain’t worth sharing… My ugly decisions might have hurt some people as other decisions have hurt me. But I have forgiven the people and myself, so am on a hustle to forget… So I decided not to share.
Sorry.

God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.”

Matthew 6:34

About decisions of making either good, bad and ugly I also don’t know the science. Sometimes the good decisions turn into bad or ugly! And there you go all wrong about decision making! My Psychology lecturer said that conventional thinking confuses decisions between good or bad outcomes. That a good decision might give you  bad outcome thus bad decisions can also bring good outcomes! This depends on the conditions around you and  how much control you have.
At the end of every single day; the good, the bad and the ugly are all a blessing. Thank God for all.

  1. “…conventional thinking confuses decisions between good or bad outcomes.” That sounds phylosophical in itself.

Don’t be sorry for not sharing some of your experiences in the “ugly” section. Maybe the time to share them is not yet now. That’s okay.
