To My Dearest Mum ❤️

To sky and back! I will always love you. You are my best friend throughout my life. You have always loved me for who I am. I wonder how you could handle a naughty and stubborn daughter like Leah, and still love me so much. I would surely choke and fall short of words if I start talking about how much you mean to me but as always let me try and write alitle that I can.

Meeting a Mother like you is the best gift I have ever received! I thank God for telling Dad to meet such a Queen! Dad must be proud of you up in heaven. Am proud to call you Mum because you bless everyone around you. You have managed to raise 4 of us single handedly. After your husband went to meet the Lord just 7years in marriage. You didn’t choose your own happiness. You chose us over and over again… You educated us from primary level and per now we all have degrees. You have sacrificed a lot to see me and my siblings happy. You are a strong, God fearing, loving, caring… Jesus! Words can’t describe you, if only my heart and soul can tell the story! You love and care for everyone that comes your way.

I am happy that we have such a strong friendship between us. You are like a sister, a girlfriend and comforter. I can talk and discuss anything with you. Thank you for being so open-minded and supportive. You are my pillar. My cheerleader. 😍

I still remember how you spent sleepless nights, not leaving my bedside even for a minute when I was sick. I also remember how you called to check on me and even sense that I was going for a check-up! You understood my pain even when I said nothing about it! You are truly a great and best Mum I would ask for. 💗

Oh…. Then the happy voice and smiling eyes when I graduated from University! You were so proud of me. I was able to achieve this success because of your encouragement and support. You filled my days with joy and laughter. You taught me to be positive and take life one step at a time. This reminds me for a song… A step at a time.

I know I have always told you that, I love you very much. You are the only person in this world who loved me with all your heart. Your love for me never changed; in fact, it doubled when I needed it the most. Your love is unquestionable! It’s dependable! It’s everything!

I miss sharing a bedroom with you then waking up to your smiling face saying, “wake wake… Wake-up it’s already morning…” Everytime I wake-up early I hear this sweet voice! You woke me up in style. I miss that too. Okay I also miss the birds waking me up. Then the flied eggs! Everyone knows these wake me up from a fancy dream. 😂 Oh my God!!! and I miss your delicious chapati, short cakes! How you taught me how to cook! How to bake! And then you taught me how to drive! You always make me your driver when am home! You are amazing!!! I miss all the hugs and kisses. I really miss a lot.

But I am happy that I could spend such a delightful childhood with you. Having a loving and caring mother is the biggest boon in a child’s life.
I wonder how you could be so selfless; you woke up every day at 5 in the morning to attend to students in your school then come back to help us get ready for school. You never complained about the fuss we used to make at the breakfast table.

I had an amazing childhood, all thanks to you and only you. Maybe you trusted God so much that he helped and guided you. You always showered abundant love on me and my siblings. I know, your life always revolved around us and our happiness. You have taken care of us and made us who we are today. Yes, I know just a thank you will be a small word for all that you have done for me. But I will keep telling you thank you. Because you deserve it and more.
