Uganda and Refugees love

No matter how much we don’t want to think of ourselves as refugees, someone out there is and of course they didn’t want to be, they didn’t choose to be. So Refugees must be welcomed and protected and when conflicts and wars are over in their countries and go back for permanent stay in a peaceful environment.

Uganda being a largest hosting refugee community in Africa and it has continued to welcome more refugees. They have freedom of movement, access to social services. Which brings me to the heart of Ugandans themselves for allowing to share some of the meager resources with them.

The Prime ministers office has department for refugees. This shows you how hospitable Uganda is. And am a proud Uganda!

Even with the people that welcome you with open arms get tired of you and become weary you loss hope and want to flee from all this neglect and resentment. Love Refugees.

Just as many refugees and immigrants use the Mediterranean Sea to seek a good life in Europe many die on their way there.

Many Ugandans are worried about their our political, economical, security changes recently that it scares them to death!

One would ask why my neighbor used to say, “I will kill my children and then myself. Am tired of feeling so helpless.” Why would he if only he would feed himself and his family?

If these refugees are given a chance to unite with their family members and of course to study in good schools later get a job without mentioning if they are Refugees. If there can be a massive resettlement for those in wars. That would be great.

And the end of prayer is to lament why can’t there be a stop to these wars and poverty that drive refugees to countries that burden and the incoming government feels indebted to pay.

If only we can embrace the hopes and dreams of refugees as human beings. Refugees wouldn’t be a word.

With the help of UN and UNHCR Ugandan government is committed to support the refugees and it warms our hearts as the citizens of this country. The Refugees are identified by name, age and sex.

You are loved and cared for. Our prayer is for these people’s country leaders together with Ugandan government and surrounding countries to work hand in hand and restore peace so that it’s safe for everyone to go back home. 🙏

TUHAME ❤️
